I went to the Texas State Fair today and took a few photos at the Auto Show. It was my first first chance to see the GM High Wing Spoiler up close and personal...lol. I'm not so sure...[URL="

I originally wanted the high wing spoiler myself but it wasn't in production yet. Now that I've seen it in person...it looks a little thick. I definitely prefer the thinner blade style as seen on Bumblebee...[URL="

Look at my car and you will know what I think.

I agree that it can look a little high. That is only from the rear. I see why it is high.
it matches the lines of the car.

I had a guy compliment me in Knoxville because of it. He really liked it and had gen 4 trans ams and some corvettes.

i think the spoiler looks good from a front 3/4 angle, but as you look at it from the rear...i think it looks horrible. and yes the real B wing looks much better.

My only question is...does it help down force / is it functional?
How can I tell? I have had the car up to 110the a couple of times following people then I looked downown and backed off.

Both times first with the lip and high wing the car was glued to the road.

glued to the road? how do you know that? you wouldnt be able to tell the down, from a "feeling", until you starting taking turns at those high speeds. but if i remember correctly the ground effects were functional. not sure about the wing. but im sure if it was designed when the ground effects were, that it is functional....unlike the mail slot on the SS bumper.
