[ Hummer USA ]
SHREVEPORT, La. - General Motors today confirmed that it will invest approximately $73 million into its Shreveport, La. truck assembly plant to prepare the plant for production of the all-new HUMMER H3T. ...
I wouldn't mind a Wrangler-sized Hummer, if the price is right. I <3 the Wrangler..but it just has no power. Especially for the insane price they're charging for it, and horrid gas mileage. I'd take a decently priced H4 with a 4.3l Vortec with a little bit less HP than the wrangler but much more torque any day.
EDITx2: The post below that one shows a picture of an actual Pickup-truck shaped Hummer. Not like the H2 "truck" which has a very useless bed. But it actually LOOKS like a truck! Sweet.
If H4 can beat the Wrangler in price, economy and power..it will probably win over quite a few. Except maybe the uber-hardcore offroad people. But if enough off-road aftermarket stuff comes out for the H4..it could take over that part eventually as well.
