GM launches Chevrolet Silverado hybrid pickup

Having developed one of the most advanced petrol-electric systems in the industry GM isn’t wasting any time launching new models equipped with the green powertrain. Already we’ve seen the Cadillac Escalade and Chevy Tahoe models and now we have the full-size Silverado hybrid pickup. Combining the patented 2-Mode system with a mighty 6.0L V8, the hybrid Silverado achieves a balance between power and fuel-economy, all without losing the muscular appeal of a pickup truck.

Hopefully these do better than the last-gen Silverado Hybrids. Most people don't even know those existed.

Needs an extended cab model, though. I don't like crew cabs.

THE LAST ONE WAS GEARED TOWARDS CONSTRUCTION, WITH A GENERATOR AND POWER CONVERTERS.IT ONLY GOT ABOUT 2 MORE MILERS PER GAL AND WAS SEVERAL THOUSAND MORE THAN NON EQUIPPED MODEL.

Those Japanese are some straaange people. Their kids "kancho" eachother..which is jabbing eachother in the ass with their fingers. They sneak up and do it..kind of like how Americans do the wet-willy. But theirs involve more anus.

Nah, I've been keeping up with the "I'm a Japanese Schoolteacher" Editorials over the past few years. Laaarge black man being a schoolteacher in Japan..but now his schoolteacher time is over and he has a normal job translating stuff for a company that exports Japanese things into the US..still rather hilarious.

Holy crap. I haven't seen that for years.

I worked with a guy (about 6' 6" tall, 260 lb) that grew up in Japan. He says it's true that they're always trying to cop a feel and do weird stuff.

What we consider weird anyway. :lol:
