GM shouldn't fold up like a lawn chair on RWD so soon. Sell them for the next 8-10 years then build weenie mobiles to meet CAFE standards.

Heck, in the next decade they might come with another breakthrough to make RWD vehicles get 35mpg. Like making more uber-hybrids. Or Volt-like vehicles.

No kidding 10 years is a lifetime in the auto business. Things change so quickly. As long as GM keeps with more vehicles like the malibu, CTS etc I think they will be OK.
