WASHINGTON -- General Motors Corp. stepped up its Washington lobbying efforts in the first half of this year, boosting lobbying expenses by about a third over the same period a year ago amid the heated debate on federal fuel economy standards.
Fuel standards are important, but how about leveling out the trade field. China wants to sell cars in U.S. then they have to allow the one for one entry of a Buick,Caddy, etc.
