GM renews Firebird trademark

Trademarks have to be renewed regularly to be maintained. I dont necessarily think this is any movement toward doing the Firebird, they just want to protect the name they have used previously. Now, would I like to see a Firebird instead of a GTO for naming...yes.

I agree. THey need to keep the trademark even to sell apparel and merchandize, or to be able to license it to a T-shirt maker, for example.

I agree with that as well.

I would rather see a firebird over a gto anyday! Fiero that is interesting too
