NAIAS notes:
New Malibu and new CTS were not unveiled yet, so I was unable to see either one.
Camaro is on a large white platform infront of a big LED screen, similar to last year's setup however much cleaner looking. It was parked perpendicular to the screen today, but I heard that it will be at an angle for the rest of the show.
I'm looking forward to seeing it again at the Chicago Auto Show!

Hugger Orange Pearl Tricoat with Gunmetal Flake stripes. Let me tell you, the colors are simply gorgeous in person. The different shades that come out of the paint under different lighting make it look just amazing!
I love the changes to the interior. It's the same design, but different colors. The seats have white fronts with black stitching, while keeping the black backs with orange stitching. The guages (which are functional on the convertible) are silver with silver surrounds, and the illumination is blue.
The colores inserts in the dash and door panels are white, which sets off nicely with the white seats. The console gauges are also white.
(I think between yesterday and today I took 125+ pictures of the car lol)
GM's display flows very nicely. It's very organized and has a central theme throughout, while keeping each brand's theme present. Very nicely put together, much much better than what we've seen the past few years.
Chevrolet unveiled the Volt electric car today. I tell ya what, that's a pretty neat looking car! I saw it drive off the stage right past me and you can't hear it run at all. The volt has a 40 mile range from electric power, and for most people that's plenty for a normal day of driving (work, chores etc) so if you plug it in every night, you'll never buy gas! However the car also features one of their new E-Flex systems, so that a small gas engine would provide power to the electric motor. But understand this... the electric motor is what drives the car... the gas motor just supplies power to the electric motor.
It's a very neat idea, and I think alot of great economical advances can come from this.
Buick Enclave.... just unbelieveable!
Mark my words, it will OWN the Lexus RX in sales.
This thing is so nice, it puts the Lexus to shame. Seriously. Just WOW.
Saturn Outlook & GMC Acadia:
When the TrailBlazer, Envoy, and Rainer are discontinued a couple years don't the road, people might forget they ever existed.
These new crossovers which replace them are much more user friendly, nicer looking, built better, and alot better on gas. They should do really well.
I'm really impressed with the product coming out of GM. They're on the ball in a big way. They know what they need to do, and boy howdy they are doing it!
...oh yeah some other car manufacturers were there I think.
