Anyone know if they will offer any kind of a way that you can go to the factory, watch your car made on the assembly line, and be able to pick it up from there, and drive it home?

I've read that the factory will be in Canada, which could make this kind of thing difficult.

I've always wanted to do this for a car I wanted to buy, but there hasn't been a car that I wanted to buy in the past 20 years (that I could afford).

Anyone else ever think about that, or care about watching their car built?

im sure that you'll be able to do it, just not right off. it might take them a lil while to get everything worked out to where they'd feel comfortable enough to do tours etc

Probably depends on the CAW.
I know that there were no tours of Ste. Therese Assembly ever.
Maybe Oshawa is different.

I'd love to tour that plant when Zeta is all up and running.
That would be uber fun!

A factory tour would be a real treat. Especially if you could be there the day your car is being built.

And by "not right away", I hope you mean the first few months and not the first few years. I'm looking at spring 2009 for my purchase...
