I'm new to the whole sports car realm. My first car was an '89 Escort GT. Then I went to a Ford Escor ZX2, then to an '02 Chevy Cavalier to what I drive now which is an '06 Chevy Equinox LT-AWD.

Yesterday afternoon I went down to my local Chevy dealer and ordered a 2010 Camaro 2LT/RS. Black on black, no striping with 20" wheels.

I went for the V6 because I don't really crave a V8 (not one to buy into the whole "real men drive V8" stuff) and it's 300hp with 26mpg on the highway. It perfectly straddles the line between sophisticated and savage...like myself. :D

Anyway, my dealer said he's gonna charge me MSRP (no markup) and didn't even take a deposit! Should be here late Feb/Early March. I cannot WAIT!

That car's gonna be a head-turner!

Not at all! But in Maryland, I didn't see any reason to have that much power. And like I said, being new to sports cars, I'm not even sure I could handle it. I got speeding tickets in a Cavalier, imagine me with a Camaro SS!

Thanks for all the welcomes!
