I've only seen or heard of two cars, the Silver car and the red clay model that made the show circuit.

I'm reading on another forum there may be two working Silver cars and a few red or blue clay models hitting shows?

I invited him to this forum as well

Unless Scott is lying to us, which I STRONGLY doubt, there is only 1 silver car and 1 red car. These concepts easily cost $1m plus to build. Its unlikely and uneccessary for GM to dump a bunch more money into additional concepts.

However, I read a little blurb yesterday from Charlie (Z284ever on Camaroz28.com) that the chassis has ended up being largely carryover from the current GTO/VE Holden, meaning its very possible that production is way ahead of where we all suspect, OR that more mules have been built on top of existing GTO chassis for driveline testing, etc.

Its a good guess that Transformers Camaro is built on a GTO chassis.

I agree, I don't see them having more then one working model. But multiple clay models wouldn't be too far out.
I've also heard the Transformer car is a Mustang Chassis with Saleen panels, I saw it posted on another forum. I blew in an email to Saleen Motorsports for the hell of it earlier today :D

I thought the Silver car was built on mainly a Cadillac CTS chassis, the rear at least?

*Someone at GM* told me this past weekend there are 2 cars. The silver one and the red one. And that's all that I can post that person said. I don't want the black Suburban's coming to take me away and then ripping my face off and sewing it back on upside down. And yes that was the threat I recieved.

The Red car is not a real car. Not sure if the lamps work or not, but there is no interior/powertrain & the entire body is foam :D

The Tranformer car is a current GTO chassis. Still not clear on the rest through. The 'source' was vague in his reply

Ya know, after a few months you get used to the big black Suburbans following you around.
It's not that bad really.
The ones following me were just upgraded to 2007 models.
They're pretty nice!

sometimes i think we need to think about what has been said, there are only 2 concept cars in us, maybe we should ask how many concept or 5th gen style cars are on the planet earth? lol
