I got involved in a wreck this morning in the SS

Well I am sitting at the hospital waiting for them to read my xrays so I figured I would go ahead and post. On my way to work I was sitting stopped at a red light and some idiot in a f 350 decides watching the road was not that important. He hits me going anywhere between 45 and 55 mph the cop says. It pushed me into the car in front of me which had a hitch so the front and rear of my car is pretty messed up. Ill have to post up pics later sometime. His insurance company is gonna love me. Its at the chevy dealership now. So when yall are having a bad day think of me. I am going home to take muscle relaxers and pain killers and cry. These cars can take a hit and thank god for onstar.

that SUCKS! my condolences to the vehicle if it does not live to cruise another day! at least your still alright! :(

i have a hitch on the back of my truck which is my daily driver, and people always rear end me at stop lights because they pull up too close (never any damage to my car, big giant holes in their car!)... as i learned in driver's ed, always stop far enough away to see the bottom of the rear tires of the car in front of you. people don't do that, they think pulling up really close is going to get them home quicker!

i always put my reverse lights on whenever i think someone is too close for comfort! (but never in the camaro) :muhaha:

Supposed to take them &*#$ hitches off when not in use. A pet peeve of mine. Never run into one but have come close to tripping over them in parking lots.

the only reason i leave my hitch on is because i have no bumper and it is the only thing protecting the truck from being declared totalled if someone rear-ends me! :violin:

and it's funny to see the look on people's faces when they see the big hole in their bumper for being an IDIOT! :nana:

i had a trailer jack knife into the side of the bed of my truck once, and just to replace the side panel and taillight with a used one cost more than the truck was worth (~$3500), so i had to pay the rest (~$500) out of pocket just so i could have a driveable vehicle without having to find a new one at the time! this was a couple of years before i had the camaro when i was a poor college student.

:angry:I thought I was the only one in the world who learned that in drivers ed that should be able to see their back tires!! Its like come on people there is no reason to attach your car to the rear of mine!!

And super sorry to read this soooo sry for you & and your baby hope every turns out ok in the end soo sad :(

If someone is on your butt, that probably means you're driving too slow and show move over.

Of course, I am guessing when sitting at a stop light, there really isn't much reason to be that close ;)

Anyway, back to the OP -- glad that you're reletively OK. The car can easily be replaced.

Oh nooooooo i am so sorry to hear that........... i say make that guys insurance company pay big time for all your suffering maybe you can get a big enough settlement to payoff (it not totaled) or put a big down payment on another Camaro. I hope you get to feeling better soon. We need a group hug smiles...

Eek! i hate dealing with legal stuff! if you sue, the more power to you, because the pain and suffering i would go through dealing with court and legal fees doesn't seem worth it to me, unless it was for like six figures.

did you get GAP insurance when you bought your car?

whenever i bought mine they tried selling me that, paint insurance, some kind of "invisible" code that goes on all the body panels in case it gets stolen for like $50 extra per month! i told them NO all i want is the GAP insurance! so they through all that other junk in for free, because the code thingys were already on the car! cheapskates!
