Ok so I have a 1988 Camaro. 305 carburated. Should I spend 425 bucks on a TPI system and convert it back to TPI? Or leave it carburated? :confused:

Or should I spend that money on a 5-speed trans. for it? Hmm... Decisions, decisions....

How does it run? How is the carb and trans that you have?

I wouldn't waste the money at this point. Just build yourself a very nice 350+ to drop in there. Furthermore, if you want to run fuel injection, you'll want to check out the Holley Stealth Ram and skip the factory TPI.
I wish but I'm looking for something a little cheaper

There is no need for a LS1 being dropped in. The 305 or 350 is all he needs, those are 2 great motors,... I think everybody has forgot about them.

A carbed 350 is all you need. Easy swap, easy hp/tq...and you still have money for a hooker.
