Too cold out to do anything outside, so I fired up the heat in the garage and installed my new speakers in the Camaro.

Pioneer TS-A1605C 6-1/2" 2-Way TS Series Component Car Speakers

Taking the door panels off takes some patience and careful persuading with a set of trim tools after removing the 5 screws from the panel and 1 from the tweeter box. After that it's not too bad.

Nice sounding. Definitely fills in the dead sounding mids from the OEMs. Great complement to the sub I added awhile back.

Total about 2 hours for the entire job. I took my time.
Cymbals sound a lot crisper too.
I was able to dismantle the factory tweeters to use as brackets to install the new ones.
After I did that, they snapped right in.
I used a Metra kit for the door speakers.
The harness I ordered required a bit of soldering to get everything connected up, but I didn't have to do anything to the factory wiring at all.

That is My next project. I already have the sub and speakers etc.
I just don't have the heated garage upgrade option so I have to wait to the warm weather comes. :D
