I think having the exterior color as inserts into the interior should be an option for almost every color combo.

anyone seen/heard about what kind of interior colors will be available? i think it would be cool to have a blue camaro with blue inserts in the seats.

I agree with that but if you had a black car would you still get to chose the color of the inserts?

what do you guys think of the interior colour choices offered on the Mustang?
All their interiors are mostly black with either black, grey or brown seats and door trim panels.
If thats too boring, there is an accent pack which has silver inserts on the dash and red leather seats.

when i had a mustang it had 2 tone tan door panels and dash. it was nice cuz it was different. here's a pic of what it looked like.
I'm a really big fan of colored inserts...I'll be ordering my 5th Gen Black with red inserts....sinister heh heh heh.
well if you want to play you know that you will have to pay
they should offer a solid color inteiror with an *option* for color inserts.
yeah thats a good idea. Im very partial to color options in interiors. I especially love white interiors. They need a white option on the next camaro along with a blue, red,yellow, black, grey, orange option. lol. The more you can customize your own, the more they will sell! Sweet interiors plus a huge amount of color options and stripes will be a big selling point over the mustang. Granite these will be exspensive. But tell me that there won't be buyers that don't get those options.

it's working for the X-box 360,removeable customisable faces that is! It sounds like alot of work but it would be worth it for gm to earn customers back and get some new ones, and that is what gm needs right now!
i think it should have solid interiors of various colors, like blue, red and all kinds of colors, like back in the day. a black 5th gen with red interior would be sweet. i also think it should have optional inserts.
All the talk about colors, what about actual opinions on the overall look? For me I think it is a horrid looking interior or more specifically DASH and Radio/AC control areas. I am so disappointed in its look. I love the exterior, but the layout and look of the interior really has me hoping of a big change when production time comes.
There needs to be some light and medium grey choices for those that live in very hot climates and don't want to bake inside their cars. Plus a dark admiral blue with a light grey interior always looks sharp.
I like the idea of the next Camaro having more customizable options. It's what younger buyers are interested in.
But I, myself, don't like bold colors in a cars interior. I'll stick with a dark gray or black interior...
Having the option to change the color of the guage lights like the Mustang is a pretty cool idea though. I know I'd make use of that option. I hope it makes it into the Camaro...

I think GTO has a nice selection of interior colors.
Need to do the same or better for the 5th Gen Camaro.

If the car is pulling styling cues from the first gen camaro, I think there should be a houndstooth option. Nothing says class like orange houndstooth seats on a white convertible! :lol:
I also think the styling from the GTO interior looks pretty good,and it would be something to pull from. The color coding of the gauges and the seats / stitching was a nice touch.
