I don't understand why the LT Auto vs Manual is only a 9 lb weight difference, and the SS Auto vs Manual is a portly 53 lb difference!

And it must be a typo for the LS Auto vs Manual....the Auto is lighter.

I do like the nimble feeling of a balanced Front/Rear weight ratio....excellent for cornering!

Oil changes will be a little pricey at 7.6 and 8.9 qts since most of use only synthetic.

A good portion of that difference likely comes from the fact that the automatic used with the V8, the 6L80E, is quite a bit heavier than the 6L50E used with the V6. Also, maybe the Tr6060 used with the V8 isn't substantially heavier than the manual trans used with the V6. All in all I'd say those are reasonable assumptions.

I find it incredible that the V8 and extra weight of the SS equipment, brakes, exhaust?, only adds 119 lbs!

It's the AFM, it weighs 53 pounds.

Oh, and the SS weighs more, because it comes with Shunt's bigger brother, Shant. (as in, "you shant pass me in that boat, Mr. Challenger").
