I knew this season was cancelled.
But I didn't know they were selling the cars and shutting down the shop.

IROC had been in trouble for a couple years though, the cars were old, and some of the new rules were really dumb.
Then without a title sponsor, there's nothing they could do.

IROC needs to go back to old school....
Modified stock cars.
Solid paint scheme.
Generic car numbers 1 thru 12.

Am I goofy or would this be a perfect fit for racing the new Camaro?

1996 is when the TransAms came I think.
New cars, in 1996, 1998, and 2002... and the 2002s were raced for 5 years.
