I recently purchased a new 2012 2SS and got me the car is relegated to toy status. I'll remainfullyactive in my dented and rusted 2000 Corolla. Will you be driving your TF3 or TF2 car in rain, salt/snow and as daily ride? Will yours be protected from use and planned as a life long purchase?

Not understanding the question entirely. I have a truck as a DD, and the 5th gen sits in the garage, but it gets taken out every now and again. It's not that it is a garage queen, but with so many cars, you can't drive them all at the same time. It's a Camaro. I take care of all our cars, but not overly so. If I feel the need to drive it, I drive it. I don't care about collectibility, per se. I'm paying for it, I'm getting the goody out of it now.

I wasn't refering to standard SS or V6 cars, I was talking about the TF3 cars. I have now logged 3,200 miles on mine in 15 months and plan to be at around 6000 miles by winter storage time this fall. Then next spring comes the modifications that will ruin any thoughts of it being collectable. May as well drive it if your going to mod it.

My husband has a 2012 Transformer that comes out of hiding for special events ie: car shows, cruises, road trips, meet ups. Occassionally he drives it to work. It has a little over 11,000 miles on it.
