Hello,

I have been lurking around for a few weeks since I first test drove my 2LS.

I finally bought it today! I couldn't be more excited!!

I have a ton of questions, but the first one I wanted to ask is...

Can I add in the fog lights on my own, or is there no way?

Thanks!

Thanks mojave!

There are blanks there now and I wasn't sure if there was wiring down there and I could just aftermarket them.

I think the car looks a lot better with the lights in there instead of the blanks.

Thanks for the welcomes and warm wishes guys/gals....I appreciate it!

As soon as I pick it up from the detailing/washing etc. I plan on taking more pics and putting them up on here.

What is the best place to do that..on this thread or start a new one thread in the picture section?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions for any mods? Are there any "must do's"?

Just got my 2LS Tuesday, mine is Inferno Orange and has the dealer installed billet grille with body color trim. I understand your feelings about the fog lights, when was snapping that pic the same ideas came to mind. You know, the ports are there, soooo, why not install machine guns?:)

(The pics were taken to use on ebay ad for that guitar)

The first day I drove it to my job, everybody was so happy for me, and everything seems so grandiose, friends, relatives, family are so glad for me.

I had been driving a Ford Escort for the last 11 years, and have had the same job so everybody knew that this was quite an occasion for me.

Car you want and love? Or car you need and tolerate? I kept asking myself before buying. This time, un-like 11 years ago, I chose to buy one that I love, one that I'm proud of, one that I want.

I have been researching the specs of the Camaro's since last year, looking at dealer stock, sitting in them when dealer was closed (oops). Took one test drive a year ago, contemplated buying a nerd mobile with 4 doors and "great gas milage"... I spent many hours looking at youtube vids about modern Camaro's

I bought mine rather than a lease, and added the 7 yr. 70,000 mile warranty.

I plan to get an eduction here reading up on various topics, plus purchase some magazines and or books which might help me in the long run to keep this car in tip top shape.

I have an iphone 4 and have not yet linked it to the car's stereo, but will do so soon, there is a youtube demo of how to do it, than it can be controlled as if it's part of the stereo. But I also like to use an Ipod, and don't like the fact that there is no USB port where there was on the 2011, but there is a 1/8" jack in there.

I like the new leather trim on dash, but preferred the more retro looking speedometer and steringwheel trim of the previous years.

I was very pleasantly surprised that the grill option is offered thru the dealership, I was not aware of that till I went to the lot..that was something
I wanted to have changed on it if I bought one. I also liked the look of a rear spoiler which was on one of them they had. The wheels look good to me, and I know that is the first thing most enthusiasts don't like, but I'm in Michigan, pot holes might damage rims with low tread-wall tires. Also, they are all season tires un-like the up-grade wheel/tires of the higher up trims like LT, SS, RS which have seasonal tires.

Here is another pic
