Found this forum through some surfing around on the new Camaro. I am seriously considering the purchase of one. Not sure if it would be the first year of introduction or possibly wait a year to see how it develops. If the HP in the first year is not where I think it should be then I may wait. Who knows, the engine development may improve in the second year. If I did get one, the idea would be to use it as a fair weather cruiser which might end up with about 2-3K miles a year. Gee, I might even let the wife drive it

I owned a 69 RS/SS brand new and restored the same year and model in 1996 which I had for about three years. The only drawback to the new ones is they will depreciate over time, whereas the classics normally hold their value.

Anyway, I look forward to reading all the information being posted on here leading up to the introduction
