Thanks for the welcome Guys. I'll be hanging around here gathering intel while I wait for news to be released about the next generation Impala.

If the next generation Impala leaves me as flat as the last two incarnations of the nameplate did there just may be a 5th gen Camaro in my future.

I think I read somewhere that the plans for the new Impala were put on hold...Can't remember where, so don't take that as fact or anything. I don't see why they wouldn't bring the Impala here, since it would be Chevy's equivalent to the G8.

Yeah, and the G8 is second runner to the Camaro in my book. If they totally screw up the Camaro somehow, then at least I have a fall back plan.

AFAIK, Zeta Impala is on track for MY2011.

Big Steve.. What's up brother.. Good to see you over here.. This is pretty much where I spend my time now.. Gathering up all the real info on the Gen 5s.. Now you do know.. if you go with another Impala, or the Camaro.. You're still not allowed to get rid of Heavyweight

Thanks for the welcome... it seems to be the general consensus that I can't sell the HeavyWeight, even though I had a really tempting offer made a few weeks ago.

I might have the Impala put back together by the time the next generation Impala makes it's debut.
