Greetings all!

Ok, so I'm having an issue getting my driver side mirror fixed, at this point I'm not worried about footing the bill (the shipping companies are arguing with each other...) but I would like to make an educated choice, not just jump at the first person that says "Sure, give me your money"

If anyone has suggestions on where I can find parts, or a parts breakdown, and perhaps even instructions on mirror replacement (why pay someone else when I could do it for free, right?) I would be very appreciative.

And if you want to know what damage, it can be found in the pics on the second page, post #16 here:

I would post pics here but because I am at work (military) certain sites, like photobucket, are blocked and I can't access it. I don't feel like waiting til I get off work to ask for help, as I am in Hawaii and by then most everyone else here will be about ready for bed.

Thanks :5go: community!

James

p.s. Yes this may look familiar... don't hate, why re-invent the wheel when I can just cut + paste

Try Dave Hiller he works with Scott

Dave Hiller

He is a great parts guy

User name on here is diller
Thanks for the info! Tried Dave already unfortunately, since I bought from Scott he was actually the first person I contacted, and best price for the part I have found yet...

BUT

The shipping, for whatever ungodly reason (wait I know, cause I am cursed in Hawaii) is roughly $100, which makes it more expensive than the dealers I prefer not to do business with out here.

But thank you! He is on my "Contact First" list for anything else!
