Pretty much everything is already known about the LS3 now, but I figured it doesn't hurt to have it listed in one easy to find location. :)

Some LS3 specs:

6.2L V8
376 cubic inches
Bore: 4.065"
Stroke: 3.622"
Compression ratio: 10.7:1
Horsepower: [email protected]
Torque: [email protected]

Same fuel injectors as the LS7.

Heads are LS7/L92 style, which flow awesome.
2.00-inch intake vales, 1.60-inch exhaust vales.

Stock cam .551 lift
Redline: 6600rpm

Awwwww Jinxy...

While I want the LS3 to be in the 5th gen (for the uber enthusiast's sake). I'd be happy with the L76 in mine, personally. :p

As I said, I want the LS3 to be in there. But I would also be happy if they had the 6l as a down-option. Now untwist your panties arleady ;).

Hello, God. Are you there? It's me. Dawn. Please influence GM to put the LS3 in the 5thgen. I'll try to be the best person I can. I'll behave everywhere except where you make traffic light enough for massive rubber laying. :D

There. It's in print. That way I don't forget later. :p

It needs LS3 thats for sure. What is the L76's rating? Id be pissed if a Camaro came out with anything less than 400 unless its a base V8 and then if the base is less than 400 the high end version better have 450+.

Well I do make the effort of praying for it almost every night. Sooner or later, he'll get tired of my begging.
Then maybe He'll just zap you and get it over with. ;)
