I like the idea of multiple powerplants and throws a wrench in my thinking on 2010. After reviewing spy photos and reading the description of the facelift; I think the the pre-judgement on mustang spy shots are just as premature as the pre-judgement on the camaro spy shots. In turn we actually have more on the 5th gen than the updated mustang.
I like that Ford is backing up the rumors on the Boss development (old architecture V8..hint...hint). But the turbo V6 is a new one and I have to say is a nice idea considering the current regulations and fuel situation; it sounds like have your cake and eat it too kinda solution. The way I understand the turbo v6 and new 5.0 game is that they are going to be the same trim level, virtually the same price, and I imagine the same power. This surprises me. I never thought the mustang would be running next to the challenger and camaro on this round.
But then again this is a motor trend article and it could be as accurate as a stormtrooper shooting at Luke Skywalker.
