Just wanted everyone to know I owned a 1991 5.0 Vortech assisted mustang notch back with 450 rwhp. I spanked many a vette and camaro with that car (I also dumped a ton of money into it. I loved it though. I sold it 7 years ago and finally ready for another muscle car. I'm impressed with the hp #'s the LS2 produces. The new camaro looks killer. I will be placing an order for one when available. With checkbook in hand I went to two dealerships today. They will not take my money. I told the sales manager I want to be FIRST on their list. We'll see if they keep their word. I look foward to learning more about the car here. nothing left to do but save and wait..

I think we here have concluded that the LS2 is quite unlikely in the 5th-gen.

LS3, however, shouldn't be much of a disappointment.

I just sold my 83 Ford F-350, it was the last remnant of my Ford days. I also saw the light! My buddy tossed me the keys to his 98 Z/28, and it was all over then, 2 weeks later I had mine, and have never looked back.
