That is a good question! I was told that all were formulas unless they were a T/A. There were no markings on the car as it was a repaint from red to white and I have never really checked it out since it was for the boys to drive. Any correct info would be greatly appreciated! I did put the wheels on afterwards as it had the salad shaker wheels I think they were called?Nice!! Are you sure that is a Formula and not a regular Firebird?
Sweet collection, BTW. I love color of the 1st gen! No 2nd gen, though?
Yup, that applies to all Formulas.Just did some inquiring and if the car is not a T/A but is a V8, then it is a Formula. At least in 1992.
Not quite so. A Formula can still have the 305TBI motor, but it has to have the "Formula" package that is WS6 on the RPO sticker in the little door on the left side of the rear hatch. It is basically a suspension package with a few engine options.Just did some inquiring and if the car is not a T/A but is a V8, then it is a Formula. At least in 1992.
