This is my Camaro. I have raced it the past 3 years in the local bracket races. Won several races with it. Best 60ft so far is 1.47 and best 1/8th et so far is [email protected] NA. I was putting a cage in it early this year and one thing led to another and I ended up with the car stripped to the frame. I decided to repaint everything while I had it down. I had planed to have it back together by now but I have had to wait on a bunch of things such as getting the cage put in. I had a lot of trouble finding someone to weld it in. Among other things of the such.
I am hoping to break into the 6's NA when I get it back together.
here are the things I have/am adding since it has been apart.

chromoly 12pt cage
Fast 90/90 combo intake/tb
redtop injectors
electric waterpump
!power steering
mini tub ( this is for the future, I went ahead and got it done )
replaced stock torque arm with a UMI tubular tunel mount cm adjustable
replaced stock panhard bar with a cm adjustable tubular one
replaced stock rear springs and shocks with qa1 springs with wolfe adjustable perches and Competition Engeneering 3 way adjustable rear shocks
added subframe connectors
replaced non coated pacesetter long tube headers with coated pacesetters
repainted everything exept the external body parts.
I am currently working on wiring and moving the engine bay fuse boxes to the glovebox inside the car, I am trying to hide all wiring
All the stock interior will be put back in
permacool trans cooler with fan
redid the brakelines so they are all hidden
New steering wheel to replace stock one
Oh and weight reductions
I am sure there are other things I am forgeting

Thanks

I know it could be a lot faster, but its my bracket racing car and I have to keep it consistant. I plan on an E85 conversion next year as well as a trans with a Tbrake and a delay box so I can run some super pro classes. I would like to run Super Street in a few years at national events if all goes well. Like I said before I am hoping MT ET streets will be available in a 28" tall tire for an 18" wheel when the new Camaro comes out. I love the look of stock type wheels on a drag car and I like bigger wheels as well. I know that most run smaller wheels on a drag set up but if they do make a tire like that it will be 2" taller than my current tire and probley a little wider and will fit nicely in those minitubs:D.

It is good to see someone else does a little fab work. A Solid foundation is an excellent way to start. You will never have to upgrade.....

Holy chit!! Nice work. Going to have to swing mine by one day seeing how you are in TN. What part again? We are going to have to have some 5thgen.org pics representing TN!
