Installed a new Dynomax Ultraflo Cat-back exhaust system last night on Big B. I was amazed at how easy it was to drop the stock system (took 8 bolts and 12 minutes). I was equally amazed at how friggin HUGE and HEAVY the stock system was.

Total install time was just under and hour and a half. It would have been quicker, but I burned time trying to get the stuck-on labels off.

The system tucks up just like the stock system, and is 3" all the way.

The sound is a deep rumble at idle, with no real resonance until about 1500-2000 rpm...sounds great at freeway speeds. I expected aggressive sound from the mufflers but was surprised and pleased by the sound.

The only "complaint" is that when the car is at part throttle, occassionally I get a surge thru the exhaust...I think it is the VVT or AFM kicking on and off depending on the throttle position, but I don't know.

All in all...I LIKE IT! She sounds like she should.

Damm, that look great, just might have to do a copy-cat on that!
