Thanks for the warm welcome guys....so 30k for the v8?? is that for the ss? lol im still trying to get educated fully on this...i was gonna buy a cobalt ss supercharged but ive decided that i cant handle the payments for it now so i was looking into what i can do and saving up for the new camaro is the best solution :D.

so i was reading about the trim levels and theres a base which is v-6 and the ss which is v-8....and then the z28 with?? lol.

maybe im just dumb :BangHead:

You have come to the right place for all the latest info.
We don't have any prices as of now.

We also don't know what trims are going to be in the line up. At this point it is just an educated guess.

If history proves right. The Camaro should cost slightly more than a Mustang that has slightly less power. I am guessing that a V8 will start in the mid to high $20k range.

As far as trims go.
In the past generation of Camaros there has been
base-V6
RS-V6 with dealer add on apperance package including ground effects, spoiler
Z28-V8
SS-V8 with all the bells and whistles

We don't have any specs yet on trims or whether Z28 or SS will be the top trim level.
Also we don't know whether RS will be an add on for all trims such as RS/SS.
Being this is a retro type car we can speculate that there could be trim levels simular to that of the 67-69 models

Stick around here for the latest news. There are a couple post where these topics are discussed that should help you understand it further.:gr_patriot:

That sounds about right to me.
Unless they make a special model such as ZL1.

you should also consiter that when you buy a new car, there are usually dealer incentives and cash back and a bunch of goodies. Since the camaro is making a re-debut, there will probably be nothing in the way of cash back or perks, and generally speaking, when you finance a car, every $1,000 you fianance will equal $20 a month on a 5 year loan. so if your gonna fianance $20,000 your monthly payment would be about $400. thats just a little food for thought since you mentioned about saving the money you have.

and also you may want to look into mutual funds or CD accouts because you still have a decent amouth of time to let that money work for you.
