That car looks great!

Why does it have Corvette on the engine covers? Did GM not spring for those bits to say Camaro?

Nope, Camaros didn't come with covers at all.

I plan to fill the CORVETTE in one day and use CAMARO letters on it and have them painted

Holy sex beast, Batman. What kind of SLR and what kind of lens are you using? Any software? Sweetness. I'm in love. :D:D:D:D:D
I got a Canon xti with the stock lense and a polorized filter.

These shots were taken with the flash off and everything besides focus and zoom on auto mode.

There was very little software processing of these pics, they came out great strait from the camera.

We're using the same camera and same lens and I use a polarizer with the same settings. Did you use a tripod?

The best I've gotten with the SLR is this.

Sorry, I'm not trying to jack your thread. It's just that I haven't been able to get that level of detail without a tripod and messing with the photos a bit. Granted, I have a different colored car that will show up completely different in a photo but I'm really impressed that's all.

So is this the camaro that runs 2.7 second 0-60mph? I'm not saying I don't believe you, I just think it is amazing if u got this car to do that. What all mods have you done to get it to that point and how much $$$ did it cost?

No problem.

I didn't use a tripod on any of those shots.

I think the main thing is the lighting. I think the best time to get good shots is early morning of late evening. when the sun is not shining down. You don't want to shoot in direct harsh sunlight. I shot this as the sun was setting and in the shade.

This was my first time doing shots like this ever, but I did read up alot before I got the camera.

Canon has a great site that explains alot. Here it is incase you have not seen it before: http://web.canon.jp/imaging/enjoydslr/part1/1B.html

BTW the pics you posted of your car before looked great IMO.

Thank you. I guess I take them for granted. I have a Canon Powershot A630 that takes pics that are as good, if not better in some cases, than the Xti. Thanks for the link btw.
