Well this is my first time using a SLR camera, but I think they turned out pretty good.

I used the ambers for the brake lights with red bulbs. So at night the outside lights are red and also they turn red in the daytime when I hit the brakes.Sweet pics, car is lookin good!

I got a Canon xti with the stock lense and a polorized filter.Holy sex beast, Batman. What kind of SLR and what kind of lens are you using? Any software? Sweetness. I'm in love.![]()

These shots were taken with the flash off and everything besides focus and zoom on auto mode.
There was very little software processing of these pics, they came out great strait from the camera.
We're using the same camera and same lens and I use a polarizer with the same settings. Did you use a tripod?
The best I've gotten with the SLR is this.
Sorry, I'm not trying to jack your thread. It's just that I haven't been able to get that level of detail without a tripod and messing with the photos a bit. Granted, I have a different colored car that will show up completely different in a photo but I'm really impressed that's all.
No problem.
I didn't use a tripod on any of those shots.
I think the main thing is the lighting. I think the best time to get good shots is early morning of late evening. when the sun is not shining down. You don't want to shoot in direct harsh sunlight. I shot this as the sun was setting and in the shade.
This was my first time doing shots like this ever, but I did read up alot before I got the camera.
Canon has a great site that explains alot. Here it is incase you have not seen it before: http://web.canon.jp/imaging/enjoydslr/part1/1B.html
BTW the pics you posted of your car before looked great IMO.
I will post the mods tommorow. I gotta go for now.So is this the camaro that runs 2.7 second 0-60mph? I'm not saying I don't believe you, I just think it is amazing if u got this car to do that. What all mods have you done to get it to that point and how much $$$ did it cost?
