Hi, my name is Nik. I might draw some flame for this, but I'm not a fan of American cars. Waaait, read the rest before flaming. I'm a big fan of the classics from the 50s, 60s, and the 70s, but have lost almost all interest in what American brands have turned out since then. The 80s, 90s, and even 2000s really haven't brought much interesting stuff for me. Until recently, that is. The 2009 Camaro concept is one of the best-looking cars I've ever seen. Yes, I mean that. In fact, the 'Maro actually inspired me to take a better look at the current Mustang, and since then I've stopped being a hater and am liking this new retro thing - Camaro, Mustang, Charger, Challenger - not the recent Thunderbird, though. So yeah. Now I want one. Crap, now my hater image is gone.

(Why the heck can't I do multiple paragraphs - it eats all but the first?! Well, actually I keep losing parts of my post.)

welcome aboard... glad to see you rejoined the american car club.
Welcome! Nice avatar.

Yeah, you're not the only one that will return to the American car camp because of the new Camaro, there will be lots just like you. :)
What up Nik, like I said on the other thread we should meet up and cruise when we get our 5th gens

finally someone from california besides me on this board.
Welcome to the board & Welcome back to American muscle!
Welcome. I don't think your the only one who felt that way. When I went to see Transformers there were a lot of import guys there and they were loving the Camaro too.
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.

I'm down for a cruise for sure. And glad to see you're practically in the neighborhood (I'm in La Crescenta).
Welcome aboard! glad you decided to claim another piece of the muscle car. They are definately not what they used to be and the new Camaro is poised to be a big hit.
