Most of you on the NY5ThGen website have seen these already, but what the hell, it's still an awesome car to show off

1969 Completed rebuild Pace Car Camaro.

This is a 1969 Camaro that I have had the privilege to witness come back alive from the ground up. The current family that owns it bought it in 1973 used. In 1976, it had been pretty beat up being the son's first car. It then sat behind a barn in upstate NY for over 20 years before the family decided to restore it. The project was started when the body shop next to me opened in 2006. When I first saw it, it was nothing but a white rusted out frame with some old rims and tires. Over the past 4 years, it has been passed back and forth between myself, a repair shop up the road, a custom interior shop around the corner and back to me and the body shop.
My shop was the final stop yesterday for the final touches before the customer comes to pick it up. These jobs are the reason I got into auto detailing and restoration.
