It's not a $50k engine. It's definitely one that warrants a $20k price hike.

If GM won't offer something similar for the Camaro it won't devastate me.

I'll be spending $8k-10K for a decent Twin Turbo set up.

I just picked that $80K tag comparing it to the Corvette.
The ZR1 is about $20K+ above the price of a Z06, which is about $25K or so above a base Corvette
