My 2010 Camaro 2SS has the Tremec TR-6060 transmission.
On April 2, 2014 with 38,404 miles the Output Shaft Seal was replaced under warranty.
Today with a bit over 45,740 miles I noticed drips on the garage floor in the same place and with what looks like the same fluid where previously the Output Shaft Seal leaked.
If it's the same thing with only 8 months and about 7,500 miles on the previous repair shouldn't it still be covered under warranty?

You have a 5yr/100k mi powertrain warranty so don't let them give you any sh*t about it, it should be covered.... Any any self respecting dealer should warrant a repair they did for one year in and of itself....
Since I bought my car in November of 2009 it is beyond the 5 year warranty but with only 45k miles. The dealer being Ed Bozarth in Centennial, CO so they should stand behind their repairs.

My dealer (Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson Texas) has repaired various items on the car before and they have a lifetime warranty on anything they fix or replace. Most good dealers will have a program like this and will do the right thing.
