First off my Camaro is a 2011 V6 2LT Convertible. It came with heated leather and has the usual side impact air bag, power recline, and manual fore and aft adjustment.

I used all factory items purchased thru the dealership at which I work.

I will give part number then description. Items I purchased are...

#13581767 Seat frame
#22821284 SIR Bracket
#15889524 Knob
#22780755 Cover
#22780747 Harness
#25974715 Switch
#13272975 Bolt (you will only need this if yours break or strip like mine did... 4 total)

First I had to put a SPAC case in order to get the frame as it went directly on Back Order.

As you can see it comes with all the motors.

In order to remove the seat slide it forward and remove the two Torx bolts. Then move the entire seat rearward and tilt up to gain access to the wiring harness. Slide the end of the harness clip towards the passenger side and pull back gently. You will be surprised how easy this is when done properly.

I raised to roof and lifted the seat out. Be careful not to let it scratch the sill plate.

I took a before picture to reference where the wires went. (turned out it did not matter since the new harness is routed differently.

One of my recliner bolts stripped so I drilled it out.

The new seat track weighs 12.6 pounds more. You WILL notice the difference.

Don't forget the bracket for the module.

You will need a new one. They are different on power versus non power

These are the items you will have left over.

Obviously there is more work than shown in these few pictures with patience you can do this at home.

The very rare picture of me lol

Almost done just need the side trim, check out the height difference. All for a happy passenger.

Yes there is a different harness for the non heated seats. I'll look that up later this week.

The regular list price on all parts is $754.13

The dealership I work at is not a supporting vendor. The best thing is finding a supporting vendor close to your home.

If you live near where I work 07006 send me a PM and I will help you buy and install.

The other guy working on this has a different part number for the harness. He also has two different knobs listed. Can you verify the harness you listed will work on a 2010 2SS and I would only need the knob you listed? Thanks.

From what I've gathered so far, I believe everything will be the same for a 2SS except the harness. I believe the correct harness for the 2SS is part number 22780745.

Why would that be? I'm thinking with heated seats & leather, and I'm pretty sure they have power recline, they should pretty much be the same, no? I can't think of anything a 2SS has that his car didn't have.

Would be good to know for sure, though. This is my next mod, pending the correct 2SS part number check.
