August 1st 2013 I bought a brand new 2013 2LS IOM Camaro, It's an automatic and pretty much stripped out which is how I like it. Here's some pics.

Today I painted my calipers with 1shot pinstriping enamel, and I also bought some diamond dust and clear coat to give the orange a nice pearl look. These pictures don't do it justice, they are not a match to the factory paint but they still look good. I'm happy with the result.

I did not spray them or remove them, I used a small camel hair brush and did it by hand. You can reduce 1shot and spray it in a paint gun if you wanted, total cost for this project was $35.00. :5go:

Good job ... would like to see a picture with the car and the calipers, if you have one. I don't see an issue with complimentary colors as long as every color there isn't different, that would get distracting. Also, I thought you were supposed to use heat resistant paint on calipers ... does it matter?

I finally got my specialty plates in the mail yesterday, the traditional spelling of pumpkin was taken so I had to use a one in place of the "I".

Lol! Hokie I love my garage, 40x60 heated, cement floor, high bay ceiling metal halide lighting. 220 & 110, most of my life is spent in the garage ha ha.

As far as the caliper paint, yes you SHOULD use high temperature paint on them. This is an experiment to see how well it will hold up, I have had my 2500HD calipers painted black with this same paint since last summer, and it's still as shiny as ever. It's borderline tractor paint, being that it is naturally glossy without using clear coat. I will update if It comes off, I am honest about my mods even if they fail. :(

It doesn't look bad at all as a color combo, might not even be noticeable behind the wheels. I probably won't paint mine, but it is always good to know how experiments turn out.
