anybody catch the article about gm also building the ragtop not a bad picture also rumor about the escalade 6.2 v8 to power it that would be sweet oh i cant remeber the mag ill look this weekend

Motor Trend. And the picture is a photochop, like the one in my avatar. But the Camaro does look good as a 'vert.

Car looks good, hard-top or vert!

I personally like Joe's (see above) rendition! I like that color...not sure about the stripes.

The drop-top version definitely looks good!

But as good as convertibles look with the top down, sometimes they look horrid with the top up. Hopefully design can fix this.

true that is thing that is always hard to figure out for car builders unless is was a retractable hard top style convertable like the g-6 I saw at the chicago auto show!

A retractable hard top will make the trunk extra long and its also expensive.

the soft top wont look bad because the roof line is nice and low!

I agree, a car like this can't really benefit from an retractable top.

what about the mercedes benz that has the small trunk and the retractable hard top? I know that it costs money to have an option like that but to me if the car looks better why not
