So apparently someone at a dealer scoped out the color swatches for the new Camaro.

Here is the list:

Personally, I don't think it's accurate.....or at the least it is incomplete.
Colors are listed as 2009 colors, and the Camaro is a 2010 model.
And no white? I find that hard to believe.
No orange? No green?
Best case for the accuracy of this is that it's not a complete list.

The Imperial Blue is nice, but the rest of the lineup is so bland. I would invest in a repaint if this is the list of colors.

Gm would be shooting themselves in the foot if white/pearl white, Impulse/Lemans blue, Hugger/sunset orange, bumblebee yellow, or spice red.

Personally, the majority of this list sucks.

Completly agree 100%. I would repaint if this is not on the line up. And to be honest, I'm not even looking for a completly 100% movie accurate color. Just a nice deep pearl yellow with the stripes would do it for me.

Sadly you won't see "Bumble Bee" yellow, 1) costs too much and 2) would take too long to paint. But I'm betting you'll see more colors when production gets closer. Right now the three I like best are: Yellow w/ black stripes not BB yellow, but I close enough for me, The Victory Red looks sharp and Aqua Blue Metallic might look sharp if we can see what it'd look like.

There should/will be better and more colors available by release. IMO

Keep in mind these are just color swatches. One thing I noticed is that paint always looks MUCH different when it is actually applied.


That being said, I want the dark blue with MAYBE black stripes.

There is no way this list is complete and/or final. I've seen colors added and deleted at the last minute by all car companies. The aqua blue might be a somewhat clean, lighter metallic blue, and that is a good choice. There will be a white...Dupont just did their annual most popular car color choice list, and white was #1 followed by silver. I really think they are wasting effort on a brown metallic and a "slate" or black metallic. One black is all we need, thanks. Brown???When was the last brown you saw that looked good on ANY car? Where's orange? What about a "phantom green" like 1969? Oh, and GM...please offer interior colors other than "dark charcoal", gray, or tan!!! BOOOOOOORING. How about a white, blue, and red color choices...hmmmmmm?

I just don't see the point in a dark black and a tinted black. Why not just make it black? I thought about buying a 300c, but the only color I could find was the off black and that turned me away from it.

I do like the fact that there is a yellow and I think the aqua blue will be nice with silver stripes.

Do you think the aqua will be like this or maybe a litte darker?

I'm thinking the aqua blue will be a tinge bluer than your example. I don't think that a "baby blue" would really sell. We haven't seen a baby blue or really light blue metallic in years. I think it's time for GM to let loose and get creative! (no, that does not mean pink or purple..:lol I think GM needs to start by looking at the 1969 choices, and go from there. IMO, they can leave the "frost green" off the list though...:barf:

I got a feeling the Aqua Blue will be like "Lemans Blue Metallic" of the Vette or the "Laser Blue Metallic" of the 07 Cobalt in shade-of-color.


My father used to have a very light blue Sunbird back in the day .

I could definitely work with that Ink Slate metallic. BUt I think Red Jewel Metallic would be my color of choice. Hopefully they expand a little on their color palate.
