Safe Nitrous Levels on completely stock L99

Of course it would be tuned, but what would be a safe shot for stock block/heads/fuel injectors (might invest in fuel injector if need be)...

What I'm pretty much wondering is what's a safe shot to run through a completely stock L99.

100 all day. Change out plugs, pull some timing.

Otherwise I would change plugs and start at 50 and see if I could get away with 75 with no tuning. Need to log it though.
You left too many blanks here to give you an actual smart answer. Things like what kind of shot? Wet or dry. Fuel system? Nano? Safety features? among the huge slew of things to be considered. Your current cars setup, intentions and future status?

That being said, making an uneducated statement......Always check a nitrous shot on a dyno. You will be safe with a 150 shot on any LS based engine usually. Shouldn't cause any problems what so ever as long as the install is done right and the tune is properly done. But any time you do a power adder you should always have a tune done to be safe.

Give us a call at Back Street Performance with your goals and information and we can set you on the right path.

i am running a 100 on mine. have a window switch on mine so it comes on at 2200 and goes off right before the shift 5700 i believe. runs strong i have about 30 shots through it
That is a pretty low RPM to have the shot come in at. Personally, I would not let it come on any sooner than 3k. Don't you just blow your tires off launching that way?

I recommend a FJO controller. Great way to manage things. I personally run a Nitrous Oxide Progressive controller and love it as well.
I'm tuning mine for a 150 wet shot and now I'm hearing the fuel rail is to small to support it and will run lean. Was told to get a fuel rail flip with a Vette fuel line. Any input would be great.
