I sat in a nicely restored 68 Camaro yesterday SS 350. I mashed in the clutch and was surprised what I found. Well as you know, all of us who drive manuals can tell you that our clutch pressure is not exactly linear..kind of feels like its riding on a slight cam lobe at the top of the travel. Am I right?:5go: Anyway when I sat down in the 68 and mashed the clutch it was tight as hell like the ZL1s clutch I drove a few weeks ago at the dealer. Actually the 68 was a little harder. But my main point here is the 68 clutch felt like our clutches as if it riding on a slight cam lobe at the top of travel.:p. So the 68 clutch after 45 years still feels the same.:)

I guess it depends if the clutch is hydraulic or manual, if you have a high powered car you need a lot of clutch force so the clutch can do it's job.
