My 2010 2SS just had the "Service Tire Monitoring System" alert/light come on this morning. My tire pressure is fine - just got new tires on it on June 1st. Any ideas on how to clear it or a reason why it would come on?

Thanks in advance.

I currently have the same problem with my 2010. The alert means that one or more of your TPMS sensors is not functioning any longer so it's time to replace them. That can be done at a dealership or a tire place for about $65 here in Texas. The lifespan of a TPMS sensor is generally 5 to 6 years...but they only broadcast or send a signal when the car is in motion. My car only has 15,000 miles so mine lasted longer than average due to lack of use.

Mine still work @ almost 8 years and 93,000 miles.
