Last month Chrysler announced four of its models would be dropped from its lineup and today the first of those ill-fated vehicles has been given the axe. The last Chrysler Crossfire to ever be built rolled out of its German factory today after nearly five years of production and almost 80,000 units being sold.

The Crossfire is a superb example of what is/was wrong with Chrysler and friends.

I LOVED the design..couldn't get enough of it. The engine chugged gas and had even less than piss-poor performance. AND it is/was **** expensive.

CrossFire looks like **** performs like **** and the price was ****.... im glade its gone and hopefully never see it back!

If they shaved off like $10,000 from the price and put in GM's new DI V6..then it would be just awesome-sauce .

At least the thing had style. It couldn't be mistaken for anything else on the road. Performance and value aside at least they were making a car with a liitle bit of soul to it, not just another bland sedan like so many other automakers.

The problem is that it looked high class, so they tried to price it high class. Like one step down from a Merc. Coulda made it an awesome car, I know I liked the way it looked.

If it was around $20,000..then it would have been better priced for what it was. Which was a low powered-roadster. 217hp isn't worth the price they slapped on it.

That and the front window trim was silver..no matter what color exterior paint you picked..so that looked a bit lame.

Amen dshane! How often do you get irritated in traffic when you look around you and nothing stands out. Like nobody has any imagination or a sense of individuality anymore. It's miserable!

was a nice car for 1/2 the price..rented on on our honeymoon and was fun to drive but the interior was like a Jada plastic toy..
