Well, I hope it can sound this good. Its LG's LS3 vette. Its cam only car with LT headers and KB Air filter with the Stock Muffler and the Remote Man Switch in the open position.

Just think, LS3 5th gen with LTs, CAI, catback, this cam, and a **** good tune could put down this vette's 581rwhp/521rwtq.


I like overkill. Goodbye, GT500KR. I like to see what Nitrous on the same setup would do.

I like a car thats a sleeper indeed ! but a camed out car sounds good also lol
My Z28 I just sold had a cam of 230/240/600lift it made the F1 sound like a fat guy passing gas. Nice part was it had electric cutouts so I could hush it up or let her speak !

I like the low grumble my s-10 had before the glasspack decided to **** itself.

It stayed nice and low until you slammed on the gas then it made heads turn and little children run away in fear.

I want mine audible but not rude and obnoxious like my Z was. I love the sound of a healthy cam it screams I will eat you alive to mustangs. Dammit time listen to the only video of it running again to motivate me to hurry up and fix it !!!!

Yeah, it sounds like it's misfiring at idle. I don't want a car that sits at a light that says "I'm gonna kick your @$$", but I sure want it to say "Wow, I just kicked your @$$" when I stomp on it. :D

lol Dam reading your post makes me wish I had me Z once again hahahahaha. oh well....the future is closer than we know..time to build another lol

The vette sounds like it could kick chuck Norris ass, for god saken. Plus kick in mind it was recorded at the tailpipes in a shop; so I doubt its as crude in person. As for the music of the exhaust, it perfect. Its a larger cam for my understanding (LG shows no specs) and its lope is not going to sound stock like some people on here would like. If stock like idle with a more little power is what you looking for, then go for the LS3 hot cam (if thats an okay name to call it now).

As for me, I want people to think the world is coming to an end when I hammer the throttle.

I love the sound of a big cam. My 68 said STFU!!! to everyone at a stop light :lol: It was a 510 solid lift with a 306 dur. and a 110 lsa. The whole freggin car shook. Awesome I say.
The 5th gen i get, I wont want it to shake that way but a nice loping cam would be good.

I know i'm dreaming but, I'd love for it to sound like a 93-95 LTI, before they went to dual cats. The 96-97 LT1s aren't as loud stock. Specifically, an LT1 with a flowmaster muffler is the sound I like. In stock form, the LS1 sounded like crap to me. I prefer a low bassy sound, with a little snap crackle and pop. The LS series engines just don't sound as good to me as they old iron block V8s.

Well I love the sound of my Mustang, but a LSx engine can sound good if one was to ditch the GM y-pipes and x-pipes. The best sounding f-bods, GTOs, and vette in my opinion have switched over to H-pipes.Plus it doesnt help the f-body's sound when it all going into a single muffler that aft of the axle. If its not available for the 5th gen, then I guess be customizing my own h-pipe.

The vette in the video still has the raspy sound of an x-pipe. I think it sound great at idle, but not the best on the throttle. I think h-pipes put out a deeper (read: bass) rumble at idle and deep roar on the throttle. Unfortunately the majority goes with an x-pipe; each to his own.
