When will GM start selling the SS version? Same time as the standard version or later? How much later? Any ideas?

Depends on if the SS or Z28 becomes top model.
Rumor has it the top model won't be out until the 2nd model year.
No real facts to go on yet though.

I will be waiting for the second year when my rent's out. I think is best to wait for the second year and give them time to get the top model ready to go.

screw it ill both two camaros then, i wont beable to wait till the second yea models. so ill buy it when it first comes out then give that one to the wife and buy the second year model.... yea that sounds like a plan

Dom is prolly right - however I would like to see a mid year SS or Z-28 release with the "SC" version of the LS3 with DOD...

all will remember what GM did to the first year Z06 owners - GM came out with the second year Z06 with 20 more HP... anyone on this forum buy the first year? I bet you werent happy about that!!:BangHead:

Get the first year and if second year comes out with 20 more hp then change out a pulley and air intake and you are there. Its all a chance you have to take. What if they didnt come out with more hp till year 3, I sure aint waiting that long.

That won't be repeated.
In the 2nd year there will not be a motor that replaces the first year's V8.

An additional motor, maybe, but not a replacement.
