General Motors is reconsidering plans to offer a wide range of rear-drive cars in North America. The reason: the government's mounting pressure on automakers to improve fuel economy.
Looks like it will be a very good time to to buy a nice performance coupe or sedan before the Govt. screws it all up and you can only drive is pedal powered cars around.
I don't necessarily think govt "pressure" is a bad thing. That combined with the marketplace should kick your guys asses into high gear on MPG innovation.
What I don't want is LEGISLATION forcing compliance.
