I saw pictures of the red RS in the Car and Driver and looks like GM still can't figure out how to make a nice looking sunroof:mad:
The problem is when you open the sunroof you have this big piece of glass sticking out of the car, over hanging the top. Looks like crap!!
My Impala like that, my wife's Pontiac does too but my little Civic Si has the sunroof tuck up nice inside the roof when fully open. Which I think looks a lot nicer when going down the road. Stupid Honda can do it but GM can't.
I know it's minor to most, but just I have to wait for converitible.

I would rather the sunroof look like that on a sporty car. IMO it looks more sporty, but I don't like the sunroof on the Camaro anyway. My want a vert, but if not it would be hardtop. My last and curent vehicle had sunroofs, but something just isn't right about a sunroof on a Camaro.

Already been a discussion on this. With the roofline, and in order to maximize headroom, it had to be done this way.

I agree you probably do loose a little head room, but I think it more of cutting corners. Lets be honest we are not buying Camaro's for there headroom and hauling 4 adults around.
Yes I think the sunroof option won't be checked on my order sheet.
Just my 2 cents.

Headroom was a selling point on the mustang when the Camaro was still in production.

Well did headroom sway you to buy a Mustang???
I am probably guessing not..
I not trying to start a arguement just wish GM could put a **** sunroof
to slide back into the top of the car and out of the way, like for some reason
the Japs can.
I think saying it's headroom is a cop out.
I think it's more about money and cost.
O 'well I guess I have to live with it.
thanks,

Jim

I don't know what can and can't be done with headroom and sunroof, but headroom didn't sway me to a Mustang, but I can see someone that wants this type car and has trouble getting in and out or are really tall being swayed by this. Personally I don't care about headroom, but would like the roof to be as low as possible. I don't like the way the sunroof makes the lines go away on the hardtop.

I'll see your 0.02 and raise you 0.02...

Camaro = 2 door aggressive roof line coupe.
CTS = 4 door sedan.
