No. A turbo spins from exhaust gases. A supercharger is driven by the crankshaft. They all stuff air into the engine. You'll be into it for at least $7,000 to do it right.
If you must have forced induction, and want power with ZERO lag, a supercharger is the way to go.
Both add stress to the engine. It's a power adder.
The LS series can be built normally aspirated to very high power levels, and, properly done, will be more reliable than any forced induction build. No lag here either.
Don't go cheap. It could cost you your engine, at least. That's a $10,000.00 engine.
