I just bought lt headers and a tune from Ted, to go along with the CAI I already have. I am doing a few upgrades at a time. My next thing I want to do is the cam swap l99 to ls3. I know I am going to need to change the torque convertor which is no big deal. My question is if I go ahead and change the TC now, can I drive it with the higher stall until I do the cam swap? Will this affect my drivability?

Thanks everyone

depending on how large of a aftermarket cam you go with, you may not "need" the stall. The higher stall will prevent some surging at a stop light compared to a stock unit with a larger cam.

There are some torque converter tables that should change if you add an aftermarket stall if you add the cam or not.
