Very Cool. Shows Chevy is definitely on the right track. Poor Corvette had to slow down for all those other cars, though. :D

Anyone notice they sneak the Colorado in there and don't say anything? Also, I want to mention I think it's BS you can't get a Colorado with the 5cyl and a manual.
Stay tuned.

We'll be offering something in 2009 that you should like.......unfortunately it was moved to 2009 AFTER we shot the video -- thus, the reason for 'the mystery truck'

(and that truck made me SMILE!!!!)

Devryn, I'm with you completely on that. I know a guy that has an 05 colorado with the smaller 5 cylinder and 5spd..he gets over 30mpg highway with that thing. And we KNOW that the 5spd can handle the bigger 5 cylinder, because the H3 has it!

The Crew Cab LTZ colorado gets a 5.3l V8..but that's the only trim and cab option that gets it.

Edit: Awesome video, except for the mystery truck that shows up out of nowhere ;).

And is that a production prototype Camaro?

EDITEDIT: Seriously..a 5spd 5 cylinder 4x4 Z71 Colorado. mmmmmm. GM would sell a lot more Colorados if those existed. :p

I think it would be a safe bet to say that the L76 will be a definite option in the Camaro seeing as how the Impala will have (I'm assuming this is the L76) a 303hp V8.

****! I probably wouldn't mind that 5.3L in the Camaro either. Now that I think of it, this 5.3L engine could be for a base Camaro, the L76 for the RS, and the LS3 for the SS/Z28. I think that this would be a very safe bet.

Or did that goofball get moved to another vehicle?

It would have to be a different 5.3L. Probably one swiped from the trucks. The one used in the Impala is for FWD cars.

The ones in the trucks crank out 315 HP on normal octane fuel, while the one in the FWD cars do 303hp on premium grade fuel.

I would rather have a 5 cylinder Extended Cab LTZ 4x4 Z71 with a 5spd than a Colorado SS. For one, it's 4x4, for two, the regular Colorado will get better gas mileage, I'm sure. :p Plus, it has massive tires.

I'm with ya there Dev. I love the SY/TY and will one day have one (along with my 96 Impala SS, 88 Fiero GT, and 69 Nova ). But this thing? Dammit GM you are bound and determined to have all my money :BangHead: because I got to get one of those too. I told myself the New Camaro will be my last new one! Well that looks like its out the window. Time to start planning on the 10 car Garage!
