Yup nothing like having 1 of the most pollutting auto manufacturing corporations in the Auto world building these plants here. Yeah go us.

I bet if we started pressing new rules and regs as such that North America has to endure world wide there would be a shift in business.

Granted I think Toyota makes a decent product but its not any better then GM IMHO. I know i REALLY liked my 99 Tacoma. But I got rid of that for my Silverado and I would have even taken a Colorado/Canyon for that matter.

You watch, it WILL happen in our lifetime, Toyota will fall. It won't crash, but once it gets where it wants to be, you watch our the product line starts failing on them. They will get cocky....it happens all the time.

People were fearmongering about Japan taking over 20 years ago too...so nothing is really new here IMO. Its just business. Let the consumers decide based on who is building the best product...that's the only way GM and Ford are ever going to have good cars/trucks (FWIW I think they've caught up now)
