Toyota said Friday it will consider upgrading more of its older vehicles with software designed to override the accelerator pedal if the brake is pushed and will also review complaints of sudden acceleration in its Tacoma pickups. The news came as Toyota announced yet another recall, this time for drive shafts in 8,000 Tacoma pickups.

The worst part to all of this is, these people are still bashing GM,Ford, And Dodge for making garbage vehicles! One guy said he did not care about the braking problem, he will just adjust the distance he is from another vehicle....WTF is that:confused:?
I have been buying gm's vehicles for decades and will never buy a Toyota.:)

Yeah..like an extra 5 feet will keep you safe when your vehicle careens out of control at full throttle, :lol:.

Well then he can really blame that on another supplier; the guys that supplied the other drivers car he demolished. ;)
